Easter Kids Activities
When spring time rolls around each year bringing with it that special holiday, you will most likely see Easter kids all over the place. This is especially true if you happen to live with young children or have some of them in your life. They will be so thrilled on Easter morning as they search for their Easter baskets and then dress up in their Easter finery before being taken to church.
Easter is always special for kids
Easter is a very special day for children and always has been. They look forward to the Easter egg hunt followed by the Easter lunch or dinner. Easter kids know just what is supposed to happen on this holiday and they usually make sure that the adults in their lives follow the routine. They know they are supposed to be able to color and decorate hardboiled eggs and they expect that to happen. So the grown ups better stay on their toes.
For many people, there is a week of Easter activities for those who observe this particular holiday. There is Palm Sunday, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday. That’s an entire week of things to be acknowledged and honored. The children are normally taught what each of these days mean and do crafts to help them understand.
Easter kids may also put on plays during this holiday. They love to show off their acting abilities to their parents, grandparents and anyone else in their families that choose to attend these plays. They proudly recite their lines and smile at the cameras their parents are aiming at them. It’s really nice if their play contains an Easter song or two.
Churches and schools usually involved
Churches and schools are usually pretty involved with making Easter something that kids have a lot of fun celebrating. They get to do all sorts of crafts and maybe even attend an egg hunt through one of these institutions. Easter kids are certainly all smiles when they find the prize eggs that have been carefully hidden.
It really is a lot of fun to watch children at Easter, some small ones wearing little bunny ears that they have made from construction paper, or carrying their little grass filled baskets. The cutest thing of all is probably those very young kids who are smiling broadly with chocolate from the candy bunny smeared all around their mouths. Now, if that’s not a photo opportunity, there just are NOT any to be had.

There are so many wonderful activities that you can do with kids at Easter. I like to make Easter board games and puzzles with an Easter theme. These are fun and educational too! Kids Easter Activities
